GoPlays11 is an independent gaming news blog. If you searched for “goplays11”, you may have expected an app, a download page or a fantasy contest. This site is none of those. This guide explains what GoPlays11 covers, how it differs from apps with similar names, and how to check that you’re on a real information site rather than a copycat page trying to get your money or your data.
GoPlays11 is not the GoPlay11 app. We aren’t linked to any app operator, we don’t host or share APK files, and we don’t run or promote real-money games.
What is GoPlays11?
GoPlays11 (goplays11apk.co.in) publishes gaming news and explainers for players in India and elsewhere. We write about the games people actually play, the industry behind them and the rules that affect players. We don’t sell anything, and we don’t take part in paid contests.
Our coverage is organised into eight sections:
- News: daily headlines from across the gaming world.
- Industry News: studios, publishers, sales milestones, closures and business moves.
- Esports: tournament results and what they mean, from BGMI to Counter-Strike and VALORANT.
- Mobile Gaming: Android and iPhone games, updates and app safety.
- PC Gaming and Console: launches, updates and first looks.
- Reviews: independent assessments with no affiliate deals.
- Guides & Tips: practical, safety-first how-to articles.
Why the name causes confusion
Gaming brands with the words “Go”, “Play” and “11” are everywhere. “11” is especially popular with cricket and fantasy cricket products because a cricket team has eleven players. So a search for one name often brings up several unrelated sites and apps.
The closest name to ours is GoPlay11, which third-party sites describe as a fantasy cricket app distributed as an APK. We’ve covered it in detail, including what we could and couldn’t verify, in our GoPlay 11 app explainer and our independent look at whether GoPlay11 is safe and legit.
GoPlays11 vs GoPlay11 at a glance
- GoPlays11 (this site): a news and information blog. No accounts, no wallet, no deposits, no downloads.
- GoPlay11 (the app): a separate product that third-party sites describe as a fantasy cricket app. We have no connection to it and can’t vouch for it.
How to spot a fake goplays11 page
Similar names make it easy for copycat sites to look official. These checks take less than a minute:
- Check the address bar. Our only domain is goplays11apk.co.in, and it loads over HTTPS. Be careful with lookalike spellings or extra words in the domain.
- Look for payment requests. GoPlays11 never asks for UPI IDs, card numbers, OTPs or deposits. Any page using our name that asks for money isn’t us.
- Be wary of “download now” buttons. We don’t distribute APK files. A page using the GoPlays11 name with a download button is not ours.
- Ignore bonus offers. We don’t offer sign-up bonuses, referral codes or cashback. These are common hooks on scam pages.
- Check for sources. Our news articles link to the original reports and announcements we used. If a page makes big claims with no sources, be sceptical.
If an app or website has already taken money from you, contact your bank straight away and report it on the national cybercrime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or by calling the 1930 helpline.
Our editorial approach
Every GoPlays11 news article is based on information we can check: official announcements, store listings, tournament organisers and established gaming publications. We name and link our sources. If we can’t verify a claim, we leave it out or say clearly that it’s unconfirmed.
We also follow India’s rules on online gaming. That means we don’t advertise or encourage real-money games, including paid fantasy contests. When we cover fantasy cricket, we explain how it works and what the law says. For example, our GoPlay11 cricket guide explains scoring and team selection without pointing you to a paid app.
Why it matters
Since 1 May 2026, online money games have been banned in India. Even so, look-alike sites and unofficial APKs haven’t disappeared. A clear, independent source helps players tell news from marketing, and helps them avoid handing payment details to platforms they can’t verify. That’s the gap GoPlays11 aims to fill.
Legal note for readers in India: The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 and the Online Gaming Rules, 2026 came into force on 1 May 2026. Together they ban online money games: any online game where you pay a fee or deposit money hoping to win money back. The ban covers games of skill, chance or both, and it includes paid fantasy sports contests. The Act also bans advertising these games and bars banks and payment services from processing payments for them. A challenge to the Act is pending before the Supreme Court. As of early November 2026, no final ruling has been reported, so the law applies in full. Free-to-play games with no stakes are not covered by the ban. This is general information, not legal advice.
